Tagcenter.net is an independent third-party courier service, not a government agency. Our service fee is charged in addition to official state government fees for tag renewal. You may also renew your tags directly through the Florida DHSMV without a service fee.
How Our Pricing Works
When you use Tagcenter.net to renew your vehicle tags, your total payment includes two components:
1. Official State Fees
These are the mandatory fees set by the State of Florida for vehicle tag renewal. The amount varies depending on your vehicle type, weight, and county. These fees are passed directly to the government and Tagcenter.net does not mark them up.
2. Tagcenter.net Service Fee
This is our convenience fee for providing the courier service. It covers:
- Online processing and document handling
- Submission of your renewal to the appropriate government agencies
- Customer support throughout the process
- Delivery of your renewed tags to your door
- Renewal reminders so you never miss a deadline
Free Alternative
You can always renew your vehicle tags directly through the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) without paying a service fee. Visit flhsmv.gov or your local tax collector's office for direct renewal.
Refund Policy
If your tag renewal is not approved by the State of Florida, you will receive a full refund of our service fee. Official state fees that have already been submitted to the government are subject to the state's own refund policies.
